La Bandera Nacional fue diseñada por Concepción Bona y está compuesta de los colores azul ultramar y rojo bermellón, en cuarteles alternados, colocados de tal modo que el azul queda hacia la parte superior del asta, separados por una cruz blanca del ancho de la mitad de la altura de un cuartel y llevando en el centro el Escudo Nacional.
